Cimbria, a brand of Grain & Protein Technologies, is a global leader in providing advanced solutions for the industrial processing, cleaning, optical sorting, and handling of bulk products. Their expertise covers the entire value chain. They design, manufacture, and service customized solutions, individual machines, and complete turnkey systems for the cereal, seed, animal feed, and food industries. From project management to process control, their focus is on ensuring quality and increasing their customers' quality and cost efficiency. Its Spanish operation has grown significantly in recent years, increasing its turnover from €3.5–4 million to €7–8 million, with the ambition to reach €15 million. At the same time, Cimbria has expanded beyond its traditional agricultural markets into new sectors such as plastics and metal recycling, using advanced optical sorting technology. The Spanish office works directly with customers throughout the Iberian Peninsula, with Spain representing around 85% of the business and Portugal 15%.
The team
You will join a small, dynamic team in a new office in Valencia, with plenty of room for further growth. The team currently consists of the Country Manager and a Project Engineer, with regular support from a Service Technician. It is a hands-on environment where flexibility, initiative and a willingness to learn are highly valued. As the office continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to grow with it and gradually take on more responsibility.
Functie
As Technical Sales Support, you will play a central role in the Valencia office, supporting customers and the commercial team with after-sales service. Your focus will be making sure customers receive the support they need, while allowing the sales team to focus on developing the business. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Handling requests from existing customers, mainly related to spare parts and quotations.
- Responding to technical issues, helping identify the cause and coordinating the right solution. You will work closely with teams in Denmark or Italy.
- Following up on orders to make sure customers receive their parts and everything is working as expected.
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers on after-sales matters.
Profiel

- You communicate easily and enjoy being in contact with customers.
- You understand the importance of good service and reliable follow-up.
- You are comfortable discussing technical questions and understanding the problems customers are facing.
- You can work independently once you have received the necessary training.
- You are curious, eager to learn and keen to develop within a growing international company.
Your qualifications
- Ideally, you have a technical background, for example in Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechanics or a similar field. However, a genuine interest in technology and the motivation to learn can be just as important.
- You have a basic understanding of mechanics.
- Previous experience is not essential. Cimbria is open to junior candidates and will provide specific training on its products and equipment.
- You have good communication skills.
- You are fluent in Spanish.
- You are comfortable communicating in English.
Aanbod
- A gross annual salary around from €25.000 to €34.000 depending on your knowledge and experience.
